This appears to be the beginning of a long hall that extends
deep into the mountains. You can make out tall pillars lining the
walls as the main hall continues north into the heart of the
mountains. There are passages between the pillars leading off
in various directions. However, most of them are blocked by piles
of rubble too large for a single person to clear. Only two small
passages are free of obstruction to the east and west, just
inside the main entrance to the hall. The air in the hall feels a
bit stuffy to you, and there is a faint but distinct stench that
seems to be coming from deeper inside the mountain. More scratches
line the floor here, and they also lead deeper into the hall.
The only obvious exits are east, north, out and west.
