resist magic doesnt keep it from hitting you, control magic does, rm determines the amount of damage it does relative to the strength of the lightning
that's why you train resist magic too darkrod, nimwit :P
CM to control your lightning and RM not to get whacked by it.But keep in mind that higher your CM, more the damage.So no danger for me.But big bad wizzies be careful.
That, Darkrod, is because unlike CM, you need RM to avoid getting slaughtered by stray lightning bolts. That's why it's called 'resist' magic.
I killed myself with lightning several times at level 2.
Tips for all u wanna be wizzies out there... Lightning hurts. Lightning REALLY hurts. Dont attempt it unless u are 1)super stupid 2)Have really high CM. When i was a max levl 20 wizzy, i still hit myself, and even with 100 CM, it still sometimes did 100 :P (or more)
sighs.poor disarm is gone and i got to find another skill to gold up and decided to use magic but hey what do you expect with 37 CM. hehehehe
You see how nice this log is.It includes cool words such as lightning,died,shadows etc.They were 3 but i rocked anyway.
