Arrest

Ash has two hours of his remaining wanted time... but someone was greedy for the reward gold. A fine choice for a hiding place though, I have to admit. To get him, I used the help of an [un]friendly warrior (literally), but the effect exceeded our expectations.

Of durms right off I can think of Daewon getting nuked, but I'm sure theres been a lot more (klouse and serex both got nuked and then reinstated)

*erms* Nukes...Nicuramar (GG) was nuked...a few in Amruin have been nuked (Zephid, I think, and Muaddib who was later reinstated)...er...Groo and Galtar? of Undungul? were nuked...Faris and Gado of SoU have been nuked... *erms* Beornings have their annual nuking of GMs... :P I can't think of any nukes from CoU/KoDA/Durms/VC/BkD and any of those other guilds, though. Sorry for rambling.

ok gazza, one rimmie and one rimmie who had two chars in rim's at one time or another :P i wasnt sure if this was before or after the 'no alts in the same guild' rule came up

Tuareg said 'and in the past there were many many more FRA chars (procentually way more than chars of any other guild) that got nuked. I didn't write down all their names so I (fortunately) forgot them quickly.'

Does that mean you actually wrote down fathom, raen, and vallejo's names and why they got nuked? Pathetic.

Also, Gazza, no offense to you, but who cares if he people do have their facts straight about how many rimmies got nuked? Them getting nuked for bug abuse was totally unrelated to their guild, and it shouldn't reflect badly anyways, so it shouldn't matter if it was 2 or 3. You really don't have to defend yourself from this shit. It's just a few petty little bastards that think it has anything to do with anything.

Ehtyar was idle do to some problem when he was killed, rest assured I will make it my first and foremost priority to make sure those responsible pay for the idlekill. Perhaps thats how you view your friend (no, it's singular not a mistype) and guildmates, but in FRA we _do_ take care of our own.

gee, no one else from any other guild gets nuked for cheating, ever. the little exp/alignment bug in esgaroth took care of at least 3 rimmies, as well as your most of your bud spartan's characters. does that make all rimmies or all megs cheaters? no. shut the fuck up tuareg. no one cares anymore, we all realize you're going to fucking bitch and moan no matter what happens.

It's funny, Tuareg says all FRA cheat, yet he has not one shred of evidence nor can he provide a single specific example. He sure has a whole lot of unfounded accusations and an odd hatred he carries for anyone within our guild.

Anyway, well yes...my attempt at avoiding the law for 24 hours did fail, but I learned alot from it (ie.Don't stand your ground when a party of 5 SoU are comming when you only have 2 defenders ;) ), and I'm sure with a few minor changes to my tactics I will be able to suceed in the future, in any case...we'll find out soon enough.

And what is this.. you think it's a crime to get people to get items for you when you're not online?.. Then armouries should for sure be removed at once! Ain't that items others got for you in away?...

People whine to much.. can't handle something it must be cheating!.. :)

If this is multiplaying, then Ash is just as guilty. When he was offline he was getting friends to take things for the quest for the key so I wouldn't get it. Then, while still being offline, he realized that I was becoming a threat to him and two figures attempted me. Ash was still offline when I found out that he had a log on the attempt. So, telling friends on icq to do things when you're offline is something Ash has done himself.

Uh... who's Heath? I'm sorry, but I don't know anything about Heath nor his alts.

About me and Hate: synchronization isn't hard if you're sitting in the same room iRL. Besides, Ash has been following the same routine: he had a friend guarding [an important item], logged on about 2h after reboot, stayed for a while, then remained offline for the rest of the uptime. It was quite obvious when to expect him online -- I logged on to legend him, told Hate to alt-tab away from the game he was playing, came to the place and made the arrest. There is no MP involved here.

I'm afraid that two ways of avoiding arrest (Ash's: by stealth and Ailin's: by power) have failed. Will someone come with a new interesting strategy?

The MP I'm 'babbling' about is the fact, that Heath by most chance had an alt logged on, waiting for Ash to come around.... Once Ash logged on, Heath and Nagash gets ready and sets up.

Nukes has been delivered in similiar situations before.

Draugluin tells you: What mp is Lotraz babbling about in your log of catching ash? :p

You tell Draugluin: no idea really... I think he may think that me and Hate are one person.

Draugluin tells you: Nah, ME AND HATE are one person. :p

Hmm... it seems me and Heath is not the only case of MP here... You may want to have Draug and Hate warned, too.

A few other people there were close...

You hear a clicking sound from the south door.

    Triggered! doing: hide

You slip into the shadows and try to look like nothing.

    (HP:230 EP:61)

    The south door swings open.

    Konj enters.

    Soloman enters.

    Konj closes the south door.

Well, I admit it was quite harsh to arrest someone who managed to stay wanted for 22 hours, especially someone who is not a complete asshole. However, it's not a trivial task to catch someone in that place.

Theodrek: all your flasks wouldn't help. It's not a matter of defeating a naked thief, it's something about getting inside his hiding place. Ash deserved big props for finding it.
