He might've been stupid, but at least he fought and died like a brave man. Not like a coward.

Tuareg, you're still not getting it, he thought it was dishonorable, so do many others, so he chose to rather die and not to quit.

Erm, Tua my boy, Kilath didn't know how to get out, CU's new to him, like it is to many many others.

Oh, now I understand you Frankiej. Thought Tuareg was first saying that quitting was the option he should've done, and later saying that's the thing he should've done.

I think he's just trying to say that although it's unthematic to quit, it was probably the best option in this case.

Knocking on mordor gates is totally unthematic, still it is, depending on alignment, the easiest way inside.

I fail to see your point, Alkath.

Still, he said quitting was the best to do, then he said it was unthematic, what are you saying Tuareg?

He's speaking (as far as i'm aware) in response to what I said.

I'm getting confused, didn't Tuareg mean taht Kilath should've quit? And now he's saying quitting is unthematic? Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm very confused.

PS: Still, Kilath should've gotten you Feldon, I can't let that 4hp go! Just flask kicking in two more rounds later would've killed you! :(

and what's taboo about quitting after huntbreaking? if you have no deception, you dont really have much of a choice, and you've already done the hard work by breaking the assassin, if they arent skilled enough to follow you then.....

I realize that... GH breaking and inn room breaking isn't really a problem. But using the ability to 'quit' as a combat strategy is as low as it is unthematic.

Actually Fimbu there is a point in what Tuareg's saying...

All this inn breaking and gh breaking stuff that's become blas?, I can imagine it all stemmed from the attackers feeling sore that they didn't manage to kill their target, and not willing to blame themselves for not doing enough damage quick enough. So they blame their target, cos obviously they're so deadly noone who doesnt do lame things can escape them.

Kilath thought it would be dishoroable, why should he quit of any other reason then trying to survive. Since he thought it was dishorable, he didn't quit.

I think Tuareg's standards for what is 'quitting' and what isn't are quite a little bit too low :P

Well, Tuareg, I believe that in this case quitting would be dishonorable. And not dishonorable in the means of 'nonchivalrous' -- chivalry is just bullshit. It would be dishonorable as cheating, abusing a deficiency of the system.

Sheesh, IMO you should be able to quit only in your guildhall, an inn or a place like that.

I agree with everything in Tuareg's last post..

*boggles* wellt there has to be a first time for everything :)

It's dishonourable to report solo thefts though..

and to try to trick thieves that stand at alexas too. Wearing and wielding uniques also doesnt give us a fair chance. Godamn reporing n00bs.

I died on Shelob before this, so else I'd been in and helping them, and you'd been beaten even more and hunted. I lost full flask and phial, Kilath only had flask with 2doses. If he'd more healing this fight would've keeped going for ages.

And yeah Tuareg, Kilath thought it was dishonorable so he didn't want to quit, although he understood that he was going down if he wouldn't quit. Kilath sure had some guts. To bad Reeth died to fast.

Maybe if i had logged some of brahms great solo attempts on me in mordor, it would prove how good he is compared to feldon. the first one went something like backstab, hunt, then hunt off and run away before. the second was more of a miss the backstab, then not hunt because im afraid to do anything dangerous, feldon took a risk here and killed two people for it, where as you attack in mordor and dont hunt because you might get hurt

You actually think this was a tough kill? Ok, first of all, this could have been done by anyone with common sense and some stalking. Shit, they weren't even trapped in the tower, they should have been able to ditch on you the first time you left to heal, but they must have only known the one way out. And you didnt just panic at the end, you paniced through almost the whole damn log it looked. Just glance, see where the hell you're going. s
