*Sighs at Vittorio*, I already explained you the whole story on ICQ, and that pretty vexes me you put this. I don't give a hell of my alt dying, what did annoy me was the mp reasons that backup this silly pkill, and no, I was not making wrong assumptions, knowing the following points:
A dislikes B
A wants to kill B, but can't for some reasons.
A has been told who B's alt was, and decide to pkill B', pretexting of a handed C bs.
Now tell me Vittorio, wouldn't you have any serious reasons to suspect A of cheating, if ever you were B?
Now it happend that I decided to suicide this char to end up with this story and also because this character was merely and simply unplayable, because of people who would know about it.
You know how this incident did affect the typist (who was actually wrong to put a so bloodtemperd comment, with the log of this death, this is a heavy mystake that the typist won't make again), you know what consequences could have ensued of it, therefore I prithee not to taunt the typist with this again, neither to make wrong statements of it, or, for obvious reasons, this typist would be pretty displeased. This is a sad story, I don't want to hear of it again, I've erased it when I did cut the throat of my alt, just figure that I'd have not preferd seing my name in that list, just try to have a little more tact, next time...

Turn down an argument with the original toker Pker? I dont think so. Loke, in my mind there are two things that all great players, of any time, must possess: innovation and execution. This log illustrates excellent execution on the part of the attackers, but at the same time it contains no trace of innovation. I have yet to see a single log on this page that displays an innovation that did not exist, in one form or another, 4 years ago.
Over 5 years ago I was banged in almost the exact same way as Landrian was in this log. It was by your pals Daethalion, Lis, and Gregor. This was back before mud triggers have been implemented and gang bangs were virtually non existant. A bang like this comes almost as second nature to pkers of today because the innovations of the past have had time to circulate and become well documented. (I believe the 8 man KA bang of Fjant is what really put the art of bang on the road to commonplace). The mud is no different now then it was 5 years ago, there are just more people who know how to play it.
It is dangerous, however, to estimate the skill of Ancient Pkers. The mud was still being explored and when innovations were discovered and executed huge power gaps would form btw players. This allowed certain groups (Swedes, old KA/BkD, perhaps FRA but thier power back then was derived from swedes, ie Rdaneel) to dominate the inexperienced population. Over time the exchange of ideas has leveled the playing field. Mud triggers and Guild armouries/comms also have played a large part. A player that began playing just a year ago can still be better than say fjant but he can never exert the degree of dominance that Fjant did. I take this into account when formulating my T5 lists.
It is paramount to understand that the ideas and tactics used by the 'elites' of today were actually created years and years ago. For example, the triggering,emoting,and doubling up of huntbreaks was being practiced over 4 years ago, especially by Pestilence.
Loke, you say that 4-5 years ago a bang like this would be much harder to achieve. The opposite is actually true. Some reasons: Armor was worthless,Super Headbutts/shivs could be done immeadietly following a BS, Aura kicked mad crazy ass, silver/dark arrows worked everytime they hit, Phial + VoV did not exist, and autoaccept was not created. There was just a small percentage of players that understood how to capitalize. Bangs like this happened quite often. I believe that during your 'leave of absence' from the mud you missed out on how far the Ancient Ones actually progressed.
Landrian had 3 rounds to execute his already innovated huntbreak. He choked, hit the wrong alias, and died. Execution is linked solely to practice. Innovation is linked solely to intelligence. Today, so many years later, I have yet to see anyone as innovative as Fjant/Canther/Beowulf.

Nogothrim, ive seen your comments for awhile. And they all seems to end up with one point. That the ancient pkillers had so much more skills and a player that has started to play lets say 4 years ago just cant be good? The killings in the past was in different times and so was the players. Just because you were elite 4-5 years ago doesnt mean your good today. And we live today dont we? Take Landrian for one, im pretty sure this killing wouldnt have been that easy 4 years ago, and believe me i know.
