You can't say that Jaren soloed him because you were in combat and participated in that combat by taking a hit from Algon. What if Algon got a super crit hit that has never happened before and killed Jaren, then left the room and faded? And then get picked up by an eagle and flown out of mordor where you find some hobbit from framsburg that has your mithril mail and some elf that took your horse lov,ermfriend.
