Help for multiplaying (General Help)

~~~ Multiple Characters ~~~
We understand that, for some reason, you may want to have another character.
You may wonder to yourself... is this allowed? Can I have more than one
character??
Well, the good news is YES! You may have more than one character.
There are some limitations, however.
They are but three:
1. You may NEVER have more than one character on at the same time.
NOTE: Linkdead characters count as being logged on.
* 2. Any trade of equipment or gold between characters must occur through a
* shop (i.e., Player A must sell it, then log in as Player B
* and _buy_ it). If A gives B his gold or equipment and B gives it to C,
* who is an alt of B, it is not permitted.
NOTE: The key concept here is that nothing is to be given to your
other character by you. This includes anything given to a friend's
character who then passes it to your other character when you login.
This includes gold, and keep in mind that we do keep logs of all the
gold transfered from player to player, so it's easy to see when you
give gold to a friend to pass to your other character. Giving gold
to NPCs for your second character to kill is also strictly forbidden.
3. Any transfer of information between characters is a violation of
multiplaying rules. This means you cannot create a "disposable"
character to explore new areas, and you cannot use one character to
scout for another.
4. If you choose to join a guild, you may not have more than one character in
the same guild.
IN ADDITION:
All characters are NON-TRANSFERABLE. Selling, giving, allowing access
to a character is strictly forbidden. As with the rest of the rules,
violators will be punished swiftly and severely, no questions asked.
IN ADDITION 2:
Each of your characters will be SEPARATE characters. Any disclosure
of your other character identities, or disclosure of any other player's
characters will result in the default punishment.
Exempt from this rule are Overlords, Valar, and Powers...who have the
right to ask you who your past characters are. And you are obliged to
answer truthfully, or again suffer the punishment.
*Included in this rule are such things as:
* Playing your many characters as the same character, or switching
*characters to avoid handcuffing or attacks.
We are making a stand here, to allow you to play your other characters
as what they should be: OTHER characters.
