i dunno really, but most posts here are ooc so it shouldnt really matter if you post under your current char. But imho it would be nicer if posts were made by current chars. As for you nicuramar im sure that noone would mind if you made an admin. account to post from.
While this might not be a written rules, it would at least seem reasonable. We (me and some guys at the mudparty which has been going on these days) also discussed this, and someone said that he sometimes posted comments with a 'well-known' alt instead of the char he actively and currently plays, because otherwise such comments might be disregarded or something. Reputation might be a factor, but I agree in principle with Manni.
On the other hand, as you know, you can only be activated on here if you have a character on towers, but of course there is nothing preventing people from still having accounts after a suicide. I am not sure it would be a good idea to prevent it either. I mean, I wouldn't be able to post by those rules, since I don't play currently :p.

Well hello all again. Concerning the net, this is what i heard, at least a few if not several large routers went under DOS attacks recently and since those types of attacks are very hard to crack down on they don't know who is responsible i think. When one of the routers goes down cause of it, it can cause bad connection problems especially if the router affected is near the host (towers) or your isp because there will be less alternative paths. Even if its not close the added traffic to the other paths can slow things down quite a bit if its sudden.
Oh well, its good I don't mud anymore cause lag drives me completely insane.
