Who the hell cares if she ran to her guildhall? Jesus. I honestly don't know why people get in a tizzy about this stuff. In an attack with 5 people, how many of Lothlorien's breaks do you think they had covered? I'm guessing most/all Loth breaks would be a waste of time. I've even had it happen where someone was waiting in the crow's nest of the Eressea, just to cancel out its double-break nature. The bottom line is that, while it may also be the 'newbie' instinct...if _I_ got attacked under those circumstances, you can bet your ass I'd travelto rhosgobel quickly, and then go to my guildhall. The time difference with travelto quickly wouldn't be too important, and it's a sure-fire break. It's no wonder people die to pkills so often, what with it being the apparent 'honorable' and 'skilled' thing to play Russian roulette with your huntbreaks. In conclusion: If you want to be good, don't pick your huntbreaks based on what you think will win you the most style points. Pick them based on what will let you live.

I think the main point behind this log was that Beorning have been banging the shit out of UD, and finally when they try for once, they fail. She could have used a different break, but with 5 people in the bang(was it 5?) they probably had a lot of em triggered! I think Drc is awesome, and I will wuv her forever!

You actually don't have that much respect from others it seems. I don't see a lot of people that actually enjoy seeing the logs of you guys banging each other. Sure, you may have respect from your guildmates, and maybe that's all you care about, but you should care about something else too I would think.
Also, you say you don't care about personal pride, but that it's enough to feel good about succeeding a pk? That's a form of personal pride....just taking pride in something simple, which means you probably don't think too highly of your skills, which I think would be an accurate judgement on your part.

who really cares for personal pride? in wars you don't take 5 people to take on 100. you take as much as you can and get the job done. we have respect, the thing that started this war was a RP hunting out to pk, udungul have no respect, who needs to save fines when the guild is paying? and as delgaur said, we don't really care about personal pride, it feels good enought to know that most every time we go on a pk, we succeed.
What's the point of killing with 2 when you can do it with 5?
1. Display some skill
2. Earn some respect
3. Save some fines
4. Personal pride
difference is, we are organized and have people leading the kills who can get the max effect from there tools.

Getting away from bangs is always a plus i guess. But there's 4 other breaks around rhos that were closer :P Still, at the end of the day she's still alive.
