Since when have the ainur told about a change before it was made? Most times they don't even tell about the change AFTER it was made. They just wait for people to find out. Let's be real about this though, it will be changed. Their goal is to make pking more difficult, which really just encourages gangbangs.

Yes Lotraz that is very cheap and it is also abuse, but neither party of people got in trouble for either attempt. Accept that they fixed the mels bug. But someone died from the mels bug and someone just ran away with the headbutt :P
Yeah Lupin, or just as cheap as having someones friends intentionally fail a backstab so you can do a massive headbutt on an enemy.

If i can guess, nogothrim backstabed resin and then came in a berzerk. That is abuse i think BB got in trouble for doing it to someone.
That ability on the SoB has been there ever since the sword was made, but it's very hard to activate, and can attack the wrong person if another person enters the room.....

I didn't say this wasn't easy. Yeah, this did look easy, but a 120hp backstab followed by a couple massacres would make a pk look easy too. Maybe the SoB should be tamed a bit, but this was as much luck as anything. What if nogothrim didn't kill her right away? She could have drank a phial, hit a flask a few times, and you know he's not gonna do shit to her with the SoB. (Btw, I don't know that she had phial/flask whatever, and I don't want to check the log right now, but even if she didn't, that's her fault/problem.)
Anyways, this had brilliant planning. He took advantage of a feature of a weapon, and while that is going to get it changed, he did a good job. He also took a risk and just counted on a bit of luck to help him.

Also this isn't really abuse. Yeah, it'll be changed after this, but there was no bug involved. That is what the berserk command does. Nogothrim utilized the power of the SoB. Good for him. This happens with just about any useful pk item. Someone uses it for a kill a few times, ainur catch wind of it, ainur change it. Same as needles, same as bs,headbutt,shiv, same invisibility potions to drop someone in oven, etc.

And while Nogothrim IS both arrogant and annoying, at least he's earned a little bit of his arrogance. Streak has all those qualities, minus the skill. He has done nothing and he still acts like he's the shit. Therefore I'd like to nominate Streak for Clown of the year, and nogothrim could maybe just be redneck jackass with a pellet stuck in his thumb of the year.

since I died in the girls washroom, I got all my stuff back, which most likely would of payed his fine if he got my gold and EQ,
