Recently? I've NEVER broken a sheath by drawing from it. Storing yes. I dunno how long I've been playing for but it must be around 4 to 5 years... *shrugs* Oh, well. Thanks for answering my question.

Draw doesn't break them, as far as I've seen, but store can, if the sword is too big for the baldric (ie: BRL into sheepskin sheath, etc)

I know that in the past draw sword would break a sheath, but you also would not see emotes whenever using 'wield sword from sheath', which you see now.
Has anyone _recently_ broken their sheaths using the draw sword command? I haven't broken one for quite some time.
I always laugh my ass off when I see someone's baldric break. I've been here for 3.5 years and never had a baldric break on me.

'draw sword' breaks the baldrics, 'wield sword from baldric' doesn't. Haven't you noticed? Besides, I have an alias 'wiel' as 'wield sword from baldric' and 'bald' as 'put sword into baldric'

Is there a reason why people go 'wield sword from baldric' rather than just 'draw sword'? Or is it just personal preferance?
Well I don't really think I do. I never play with them. Perhaps once every few months at the very most.
Just yesterday Streak told me he had no alts :P.
And I've also said on other posts that I'm not really into playerkilling. I've done it a few times, but usually in parties. I just follow the leader and headbutt the target. It's not terribly exciting.
And why would anyone attack anyone for comments posted on this silly site? It's not worth it.
