Episode 1 of the adventures of Anthlar and Mithgil
Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to episode 1 of the adventures of Anthlar and Mithgil. Tonight, we have a delightful reenactment of the battle between Gandalf the Grey (Mithgil) and a Balrog (Anthlar) We tried our best, hope you like it.
An eerie silence descends upon the hall.

Suddenly you catch a glimpse of a reflection below you, and realize
it's a lake. It appears you will be saved after all, but before you
have time to take a deep breath, the water closes in around you!

the surface. You take a deep, gasping breath, and find yourself floating
on the surface! Unfortunately, what you left behind is lost to the
lake forever.

You are surrounded by a huge subterranean lake. Small ripples
can be seen traveling through the clear water, as stray rays of light
strike them, from the great hall far above. It seems quite beautiful.
You wish you could spend more time admiring it, but the water is quite
cold, and you feel it would be best to leave before you freeze.
The only obvious exits are south, west, north and east.

The staircase is very steep. Perhaps you should climb the stairs
instead of trying to scurry up them so quickly.

The cave here is quite narrow. Its close walls seem to stretch on
forever. Everything is covered in thick layers of moss. Small droplets
of water fall from the hidden ceiling. It seems a lot of moisture is
produced by the moss or some other, less obvious, source. Due to this,
the water droplets trickle down the walls and gather in small streams
that head further into the cave.
The only obvious exits are west, north and east.

belly of Arda, and to go high enough to touch the stars.

You are high up in the icecap of Zirak-zigil. There is much bare
rock before you, which is a marvel as the rest of the peak is coated in
heavy glacial ice and snow. Looking upwards, you see the remnants of
Durin's Tower which have collapsed in ruin and are being encroached by
the icecap of Zirak-zigil. You have a panoramic view of the entire
area out to a hundred miles or more. The beautiful scenery is
captivating when it is not blocked by flying snow blown by winds off the
icecap. You can see a place further out on the ledge where there are
signs of recent fire.

You are high up in the icecap of Zirak-zigil. There is much bare
rock before you, which is a marvel as the rest of the peak is coated in
heavy glacial ice and snow. Looking upwards, you see the remnants of
Durin's Tower which have collapsed in ruin and are being encroached by
the icecap of Zirak-zigil. You have a panoramic view of the entire
area out to a hundred miles or more. The beautiful scenery is
captivating when it is not blocked by flying snow blown by winds off the
icecap. You can see a place further out on the ledge where there are
signs of recent fire.
The sun shines brightly in the eastern sky.
A crystal blue sky hovers over the world, dotted with a few small clouds.
The only obvious exits are ledge and north.
