I think most people are pretty familiar with this quest... but I tried to do something that I don't think anyone else has ever done (some commentary edited in to the log). The parts of the quest pertinent to players who haven't done it before have been skipped over or edited out as well.
[A confrontation with the Sentinel of Erebor is pre-ordained in every T2T mudders life.
From a time many, many years ago, when I was just a li'l mudder, I had been told from
many sources: don't fight him, get in, get what you came for, get out. Many people I have
talked to have admitted to having recieved similar advice, or reminisced about running
madly away from the Sentinel. I thought that I would attempt something never done before:
slaying the Sentinel of Erebor. Here's a log of how I killed the Sentinel -twice even.]

This is the Tomb of Thorin Oakenshield, one of the greatest Kings Under the Mountain.
The Dwarves took great care to ensure that this tomb would remain unmolested, and had
constructed a trap to prevent thieves from successfully looting the coffin. At one
time there was a passageway that continued to the north, but it appears to be totally
blocked by a large pile of fallen rocks.
A large coffin is centered in the room. The only obvious exit is out.

I assumed that every player to have done this quest this uptime had had their shots on
the Sentinel, and he was just about to kick over when I went in. I decided to wait it out
until the quest reset, and take on the Sentinel in a true test. I re-entered the tomb
several times, to check if it was re-set, and when the Sentinel was finally back up,
restarted my log with the combat "in progress" -this is several rounds into the fight.]
