Kinda strange - what the log doesn't show was that he was actually outside the room for some seconds to avoid the fireball.
and you can set if zmud also logs the echo of your commands with
-> general -> logging -> log commands
(I think)
~Anatharn
almost correct, Gridi.. if you had started casting explicitely at the spirit, your fireball would've hit the spirit. Even if the attacker had come back before the spell was finished... but if you had attacked the spirit and then just casted fireball (without naming a target) then it would've hit a person that enters the room during the spell casting and that you have combat with.
erm.
1) You're right. Combat does continue if you leave the room and come back faded again.
2) You're wrong. A fireball is cancelled if the target is no longer in the room - UNLESS you're still fighting something. So for example, had I started fireballing the spirit and Jeovan entered the fireball would hit him. But since I was only fighting him, the fireball should have quit a round after he left. Only obvious reason is he entered too quickly. (Despite it imo and his seemed like it took a few seconds)
1. There is nothing screwy here. You were in combat faded, left the room and returned -- why would the combat stop?
2. Fireballs used to work like that all the time: if the casting stopped as soon as the target leaves the room, wizards would be completely useless against a player. A tip: just make sure you're not in the room when the fireball goes off, and everything will be ok.
Sigh fade off didnt hit in before i enterd again, eventhough i waited 3 seconds and when did they change that fireballs keep going if the target leaves the room....
HP:216 EP:225 > Ok.
That's where I got my staff out.. :) Zmud doesn't echo the commands in the logwindow. Just as you don't see the 'cast fireball on figure' anywhere.
Sorry if I'm thick today but.. Was that fireball cast with a staff that was in a pack?
Good use of a kind of screwy 'feature' gridi.
By the way, i like how you start the log with your inventory.
'Look at me an all my cool gear, yeehawww!!!
funny
nice log, Gridi.
Yeah, I don't see how Jeovan's letting himself get killed has anything to do with whether or not Gridi is an idiot...but maybe some people are just irrational and bitter, huh?
Seems like Jeovan was acting the idiot for letting that fireball hit him. I should know, eh? :)
Yeah, because a moron is a person who attacked faded people. Guess we all know that. You're all superclever for commenting on that.
And if you must know - I came to get a sapphire sword (why else would I go to that place??) and a figure was getting it. Seemed like the perfect chance to run him off and get it myself.
Well, like nobody knew that.
Hehe, that just emphasizes what a complete moron gridi is.
Why wouldn't I?
Why did you attack him in the first place?
rofl ;)
