one option, is if you are picking up something at THAT much gold, make sure you have full EP, fade, and go to alexa's faded, then be at alexas, trigger winning to fade of pickup and wield.
Uhm, I mean, you can even be at Alexa and still beat the thieves, if they ain't so skilled, that is.
Waste, dumb. You sure could stay four rooms away if you got a trigger. A client trigger wouldn't be fast enough, and you could always beat those sucky thieves even with standing in the room.
Cadel, out of curiousity what would your genius mind inspire us to do in a situation like this? Stay 4 rooms away? i've seen thieves who have client triggers to automatically set a trigger to steal from the winner after the auction is over, thats why I wanted to be fast enough to beat those kind of triggers and also be a bit away from the auctioneer. Another option would be dark but i was low on EP and thought the trigger would do it.

that was due to another fuckup on Udungul's part. the guy resetting the whip LD'd out in the reset room, leaving Beornings free to go grab it.
Yea i just wish i was smart enough to legend them both before selling the whip to durad off of alexa's, but i learned my lesson... Another thing that boggled me was the way waste and durad claimed it was theirs to beggen with, they had it before it was at alexa's? Then just how did it get TO alexa's? *boggles*
