A cool fight, damn wizards kick ass. We had a little argument on the log page some time ago which ended up with Grymlar asking me to solo him if I was that great or something.So I did:) RETURN HEADBUTTS!!!
Unlike hb's and bs's if you are attacked after you start casting then the new attacker becomes the target. Yes this was an incredable bit of luck on his part, but it can be used both ways if the circumstances provide it.
Nice Log ... but can anyone explain to me why the guard got the fireball, if the target was ruiniel? ('Grymlar starts casting fireball at you!').... 2nd fireball i mean ;)
Personally I think a warrior wielding saph against said whip wielding assassin would blast the assassin into tomorrow unless he has bad armour
erm, if you can't solo a maxed warrior, with whip, then you just retarded skills in my opinion.
Well, bb did get away from me numerous times while I wielded whip, but he wasn't ordinary so its justification:)

Ruiniel, man, you are the gutsiest (spelling?) and luckiest assassin I have ever seen in my life. I mean being able to solo someone from rhos is kind of easy nowadays even though the time you started doing it, it was mostly referred to as luck. But this log just bites the big one! I mean:
1- first dodge a fireball, acceptable a fluke can happen.
2- then grymlar hits you with a fireball and you still dont leave.
3- Then luck kicks in again and his fireball is hit by a random elven guard who decided to walk in.
4- and then he hits you with a fireball and you decide to give up and hunt off, which is smart...
5- you decide to hunt on again at lothlorien and when he does come, you go to rhos, then the target COMES RUNNING to you...
6- with 36 hp you decide to hunt him down and kill him...
I mean, FUCKING HELL! Defnintly a 6 for guts and luck. Although skills are a bit questionable along with sanity:p

I think, perhaps, if I were an assassin and my oponent chopped me all
the way down to 39 hp, I'd call it a day. Grymlar's a close personal
friend of mine, and it's good to see him fight like a champion in a
close one, but Ruiniel shows icy cool stones that wouldn't crack under
a sledgehammer.
Skywoman (actually a HE, oddly enough (*boggle*)) shielded for about
four rounds, absorbing a hit hard. and a few other smacks. Grymlar
didn't ask for it. Assassins have to take the risk that a wildcard
may decide to do something like shield their target.

The amount of luck and the amount of guts involved in the log kindda differentiates it.
There's no difference between doing that and rating a log with more then one character, Netwarrior.

Skywoman shielded me for like 4 rounds, and i think the best one she blocked she picked up a graze, thats not really shielding in my book.

Look at the gear Grymlar had, and consider the fact that Ruiniel had the whip. If Grymlar would have won, which he almost did, it would have made Ruiniel look really pitiful.

Actually, I attempted you only on your way out of Mordor and my crystal went out in Mirkwood - damn sucked:P
All i got to say is nice timing! He attempted me a couple of times the other day in and around mordor, but this time i was at 140hp, severly encumbered, and had my hands full plus had been chowing down on pasty's, nice fight, was a close one :)
