Its been a while but my blade still remembers how to draw blood. Dont tell me I need to remove the trigger to color the targets name. I allready noticed and have taken action against it ;-)

Howmany of you have the 'skill' to create such nifty abilitys withing your client?

You still have to program the client remmber - the client which only need you to press one key.

Lets face it - who needs 'skills' to play a text based game? :p

Yes I was too drunk for the vial DOH! Let's face it people, crapping on about anti huntbreak triggers and what merits skillful pkills or not, is a little redundant don't you think? The environment in Arda at this present time, as opposed to say 8 years ago, is one where pkilling needs to be a little opportunistic or err.. creative shall we say? - and that in itself is not entirely bad. Raqtor prowled about, waited for an opportunity, and took it, as opposed to claiming a contract, getting finds, and going out to hunt and kill the perp. Either way, he did me good. He got me when I was pissed off my newt, disorientated by tellhell, and wondering where the hell to put my keg. Whether or not there was any skill involved is a ridiculous statement because skill is all based on perspective. Blah. Onya Raqtor, I owe ya one. Anyone want 20K to kill him? *giggle*

Where is the challenge in been attempted if assassins aren't allowed to use triggers. Like what skill difference is involved in typing several lines of a pk alias and aliasing it in a client? It's the difference of how fast u can type, and that is skill? If assassin can make a certain set of triggers to kill someone, then it's just as easy to make a set of triggers and aliases to hunt break, isnt it! Everyone says u need a certain skill to be a good assassin but no one seems to know what skill it is. The 'skill' i believe is just expreince, stalking your prey, disableing hunt breaks and picking the right time comes with expreience and a bit of knowledge. It is good to see someone who doesnt usually let their hp go below 150 to get killed, that is 'skills' in my eyes.

You know I love you Martok, but I cannot agree with your defenition of skills. I dont have everything done by my client. I do have many aliases to compensate for my bad typing skills. But I do still have to type and remember the alias name. I do not use triggers to do commands for me. Well ok I have that Party say when beginning to hunt thing but as I am rarely in a party anyways it doesnt really do anything. My colors might help me a bit to see things more clear. But mostly I feel that it makes the MUD output more injoyable to read.

You say //you didn't do jack shit, but type a one word command//. That I cannot agree with at all. Devinius is a very careful guy that gets attacked alot. I had to stalk him around trying to find the perfect time and spot to act. When I finally find him fighting a tough NPC he is faded as the careful person he has to be. So I predict where he will unfade and disables any breaks impossible to trigger. The skills are mostly knowing what to do and reacting fast (IMHO). Rest is just typing practice like another secretary.

You know if more assassins waited at healers for people who were low more often, there would be a lot of cool logs. Wouldn't the ainu get mad for random killings though?
