   As you slowly climb the ladder leading up into the shop, people all
around you are waiting eagerly for something.  When you reach the top,
you notice that the racks and shelves are nearly empty.  You also
realize that all these people are waiting to see if something useful
will be sold.  Then you see the prices on what remains, and decide that
you might not be able to afford what you want, either.
    The only obvious exit is down.

A short darkly-clad figure stands before you. With his tattered dwarven
cloak and rusted rune-covered helmet, he has a blood-stained battleaxe

fold at the edge of his crimson eyes. This dwarf believes that
that single vision was the abnormality of blindness. A double vision was
always with him. You shudder as his eyes pierced right through yours
and falls unconscious after giving out a loud yell. He has a vast
hermaphroditic form that takes on several hideous shapes, making him
appear more mystical. Trembling with fear, you take a final bow and
flee for your life, before any massacre is to take place.

anything of value.  Glancing around the room, it appears that they were
extremely thorough in their search.  As the low ceiling forces you to
bend over, you notice that the dusty, splinter-covered floor echoes 
strangely beneath your feet.

    Dim light comes from the walls of this tunnel, giving you a creepy
feeling as you walk down this accursed path.  The floor is covered with a
thick, soft layer of dust that silences your footsteps just as it would
those of any beast that might be lurking in these dark shadows.  After
adjusting to the lack of light, you finally get the full picture of the
place you ended up in.  The hole that you used to get here is gone; all
that is left is a curved ceiling that seems to get lower as the tunnel
continues deeper into the darkness.  The texture of the material reminds
you of melted wax, as if the tunnel was bored by intense heat.  This 
could never be the work of nature; its purpose is up to you to discover.
Courage that you thought you had a few steps ago is dissipated now, and
fear envelops your heart as you carefully take your next step.

    A dim light emitting from the very walls of this tunnel 
gives you a creepy feeling as you walk down this seemingly
cursed path.  The floor is covered with a thick and soft layer 
of dust that silences your footsteps just as it would silence 
the footsteps of some other beast which might be lurking in any 
of these dark shadows, darker than you ever imagined they could 
be.  Since the fork, the tunnel seems to be growing more spacious 
but also darker.  The walls are made of melted stone with a dark 
red tone and the path is still descending deeper into mountain.
    The only obvious exits are northwest and southeast.
