I've only been playing for a lil less than 4 yrs now and I've had EVERYONE bashing me and everyone else over the head with how great 'player z' or 'player b' was when the MUD first opened. hey that's great, that's nice but I've never met them, never had them attempt me, never had them kill me, or vice versa. Except for Kitiana and she helped me get my first non-wooden weapon (sindarin sword). My point is, they are gone, the mud has changed. There are different standards, atleast different to some of us, for most of us these are the only stanards we've known. So when you think someone is the best now, then it has absolutely nothing to do with who was the best back when the mud was first released.
Living in the past is stupid and boring, embrace the present and plan for the future. Recalling past glories is for funerals and scribblings on memorials.

Nagash, you must still be really new to this game. As far as killers go, across the history of Arda - I am good. But Nogothrim was right, in his comment on a kill I made on Mar and Spomenko.
Standard procedure.
Killers today don't have nearly the skills that players of old had. Everyone's paranoid, afraid of their own shadow, and only attack when they have a mathematical advantage, like three guys to your two, etc.
It appears today that 'standard procedure' of five years ago...is something of a rarity in today's age. Most of you aren't half the players you could be. That's why I can kill two dozen people in two weeks.
And Ruiniel, you made a better warrior than an assassin. As an assassin, you're complete shit. And betray you? We were NEVER friends. We NEVER had a truce. It was always kill or be killed.
So there you have it. Try me all you want, as many people as you want. I'll show you standard procedure..and you'll all be dead.
Julius, you're one of the best players, most likely the best. Certainly better than Deadlok, Ruiniel or me... but that doesn't mean DL and Ruiniel are not skilled players themselves. They're experienced killers, really standing out of the crowd.
