The darkness drifts north.
Hardly anymore spammy than regular movement with full light, showing the characters name. But I haven't read the MC case. This is off-topic anyway :-P.

The ainur were to address that problem, but everything they tried they said would not be good (I think the reason was it would be very spammy.) The MC case that voted it into Valinor has the details.
...but if we are to speak about realism or lack of, the light system of towers still has some problems. For instance (unless it has been changed) you don't notice if someone is passing through your room with full darkness on. Pretty unrealistic. The same goes for light, if it's still possible to have it 'too bright'.
For NicuWorld (which is a mudlib I made some time ago.. not done though), I tried to address these problems and others. It can be made to work pretty nicely if I must say so :-P.
Not a bug, every time you left the room there was no more dark. It was enough to follow the pocket of artificial darkness in a bright environment; that's not anything hard even if you can't see shit while inside the darkness.

Great pkill i got to say but it is my own fault and i got hit by a lag bubble too but still...i just want to know how he hunted through 4 rooms of darkness and he alsow triggered the wrong break, damn it, unlucky...
