ok, so it was YOU trying to get free kills and be lame, but instead you decided to turn it around and try to make nagash look like the bad guy for going wanted in the first place.

I never said you had friends waiting - i said it happerns - has happerned, and you were used as an example - since you are in the log - You are a capable player, we all knmow that - capable players have lots of friends too - glory seekers etc. Bascicaly we wanted to eliminate that risk.

I was reffering to past abuse of going whanted. And what you 'could' have done.

The goal was for the two FBs to hopefully kill you outright. May have haperned if you did not dodge that FB - but then, it may not. Who knows.

and there is fun in 100000 people doing it - Team work can be fun, and hard work organizing and leading the party effectivly.

Delgaur, I had NO friends nearby. I was just getting eq, checking contracts, normally playing. Why would I hide anywhere if there is no risk involved?

    Things that could happen were:

    1. a solo attempt -- well, hardly anyone attempts non-newbies solo

    2. a gangbang attempt -- the usual thing

    3. a weak arrest -- I defend myself (best healing is so unbalanced it isn't even funny), and then decide whether to go for the easy kill

    4. a gangbang arrest - I don't even waste my healing, and let them cuff me. I don't lose even a single gp, my bank accounts are not moved, and there is no risk of dying.

Show me an error or abusing my friends in the above. There is not that much fun in this game if you do everything in 100000 man parties.

or you have sucker friends who help him out - get fines themself - but nagash gets nothing - nagash can then later backhunt them all becuase THEY attacked HIM - no fines. Free kills. - and his buddies who do get fines get to play Egos becuase the Pked Mr X with the reason 'oh but he tried to arrest a guildmate' :p

Its been done in the past - and it will happern in the future.

Uhh, let's see, he was counting on a two or a one man attempt to arrest him, in which HE would be in perfect or good and the person arresting him would be ND, in which he could backhunt

    dumbass :P

oh, right theo, you're going to magically all of the sudden break the cuffs and get away from a 3 man while ND and live to backhunt

please tell me how going wanted for 1 gold gets you free kills, moron. you're still charged with the crimes, it's not like you are immune to lawsys once you're already wanted.

Gee, maybe you could break the cuffs and backhunt when arrested, or just backhunt anyone who tries to get a free kill on you?

What I wanted was getting anyone to attempt me, even a bang, so I can pick individual attackers one by one later, or a 1-2 man handcuff (I had phial+flask+jerkies, more than nearly anyone at that uptime) so I could hunt+stab the cuffer if he would happen to be a person I dislike (and friends don't try to arrest you).

The arrest didn't cost me anything, and there was no risk involved.

and lets face it, its no more lame to bang him when wanted - than it is to go wanted for 1gp and try and get free kills.

the bandage trigger was is a flaw with my client :P and one person was to handcuff to simply stop him running us and leading the party to joe bloggs to kill us all! - Just hoped we would get a kill on him from it.

Although I do like how one party member triggered to bandage, and the other to kill. :)

If you were going to kill him then why did daywalker handcuff him

The point was to kill him - 5 people becuase we suspected a setup.

Hes killed a few members, and we have yet to get him back for it.

Some people are better, and more notoriously dangerous than others, Gothwin. :) I mean, I think I'd take three or four people to go arrest Ruiniel the level 19 Assassin, where'd I'd take just me and Ezekial to arrest Newbie the level 19 Warrior :P There's not too much of a way to go see how many people Nagash has with him, or what eq he has without revealing yourself. So, strike fast, strike hard, don't take chances. :P I think it's cool they got enough people together to do it, it shows real common sense.

...and hey, maybe they were going for the PK, and someone (not in on it?) arrested him at the same time. :P Who knows.

I may have miscounted, but does it really take 5 people to arrest one person? Or was the purpose of this arrest to try to kill him at the same time as arresting him? Either way, I am not impressed with this log at all.

*shakes head* Yes, Fimbu. No matter what, your HP is reset to 1 if you go negative in an arrest. And I'm pretty sure if you're just 'ND' (50 HP or so) it gets sapped down to 1 inside the jail anyway. But I'm old, what do I know, can someone test and possibly prove me wrong?

Your HP is reset at 1 when you go to jail if it's negative, but I suppose if the fireball takes you so low that you die immediately...

Well, yes. :P People tend to not die when they get arrested. Even if they go negative 5, or even negative 50 HP, they don't die. *razz*
