I left the halls a couple of month ago, just wanted to post the log of the room desc. Imo, it was the best halls descriptions ever, (for what I have seen of the others). Whoever wrote them I think it's sad it has now to sink into oblivion. Just wanted to testify of a time, now revolved.

It is very smooth and cold to the touch, and its darkness only seems to serve to intensify the somber feeling of dread that emanates from within the room. <(HP:230 EP:230)> l marble Mordor's finest to offer, this heavy black stone is flawless, mined from deep under the earth in the unholiest of lands. <(HP:230 EP:230)> l scribe This wretched creature toils endlessly transcribing the many tales of successful Durmanhoth campaigns and the history of the guild. Once a fair elf of the city of Caras Galadon, he now appears more like a wraith. What few strands of hair remain on his head are gray and hang limp down around his ears. It appears, however, this room has not been used for several years, as the Durmanhoth have simply killed those so foolish as to defy them. When you get closer to appreciate the artistry, you see that it is a sculpture of a beautiful elven woman. She seems young even for an elf. Tight fitting black clothes hang on her sinewy body. Silver threads in the cloth make the statue sparkle occasionally. The darkly lit room has a large desk towards the west wall, and behind it sits a large thickly cushioned beautiful black leather recliner. The floor is carpeted with a lush red carpet with the guild's crest squarely placed in the middle. Tapestries adorn large portions of the walls, and the bare spots are filled by shelves of books. Several other chairs sit in front of the desk for Raqtor's audience to sit in. A small, wooden sign is nailed to the wall. You notice a small glass case sitting on one of the shelves. It is well known by all in the guild that everyone despises this man...thus his nickname Vulture. His given name has been used so long and with such disdain that no one can remember his previous name. No one can stand those who live by selling items that others use for the dealing of death when they themselves do not have the guts to perform these acts of honor. He is empty handed. <(HP:230 EP:230)> l You have entered the house of death. This is the Durmanhoth guild shop, and any who come here come to court with death. Here is where the guilds members go to arm themselves for the fulfillment of guild contracts. Gleaming items of swift death, supple hides and armours meant for protection, and other useful items can be found here. A dark black marble counter stands here and dominates the room. Behind the counter stands a buff and deadly looking shopkeeper. Hanging on the counter is a plaque. The only obvious exits are west, north and southeast. This room is the embodiment of the Durmanhoth in all its gruesome glory, and it commemorates some of the most notable events and assassins in its rich history. You glance around the eerily lit chamber, and only your years of digging around in other people's entrails prevent you from gagging as you behold the hundreds of humanoid skulls used to pave the floor and walls. Slow, thick rivulets of dark blood trickle out of the eyesockets, as if the dead were weeping for their desecrate fate, for their souls can find no solace here. The blood streams down the walls and drains into a large hole set into the floor beneath the centerpoint of the domed ceiling, illuminated from below with a putrid green light. At the opposite end of the room stands a ceremonial altar, with a glowing firepit in the center, and above that is mounted a large board, listing the greatest of assassins. Along the west wall hang several tapestries depicting some of the more daring and illustrious assassinations, and a leather ledger stands on a pedestal before them. The east wall contains a large, old scroll that hangs to the ground. The only obvious exit is south. A statue of Deadlok <(HP:230 EP:230)> l statue This is the statue of Deadlok, mightiest of the Durmanhoth Assassins. Through strength, skill and deliberate planning he carried out many deaths in cold blood in the name of the guild. If you have taken a head in service of the Durmanhoth, here you can 'sacrifice head', and it will be added to your tally. <(HP:230 EP:230)> l ledger A large tome bound in pale skin sits atop a pedestal here. It contains the names of those who have contributed very large amounts of gold to the guild. Manni, Hanzu, Darkclaw, Canton, Barakhaz, Ronin, Grozdol, Klouse, Derex, Rancor, Necsipaal, Therigion, Mord, Elthor, Transron, Morgar, Ethereal, Nagash, Renegade, Deadlok, Korzan, Mutalator, Haekon, Orlandu, Haghendorf, Hans and Sickboy <(HP:230 EP:230)> l hole It is a large man-sized hole in the center of the floor. A steady green light illuminates it from below, and from time to time, you can hear a chilling scream of agonized damnation coming from below. You take a step towards it and carefully peek down... YEOW! With your heart pounding, you press yourself against the wall, because what you saw were legions of snarling, red-eyed shadows, trying to grope and claw their way out of their place of imprisonment. <(HP:230 EP:230)> l shadows Hundreds of these shadows scurry about down in the hole. Noone knows who or what these shadows once were or what they are being tortured for. <(HP:230 EP:230)> l rivulets Streams of dark blood, oozing out of the eyesockets and along the walls. Somehow, it avoids the scrolls and tapestries on the walls, to avoid them from becoming soaked. <(HP:230 EP:230)> l streams You don't see that here. <(HP:230 EP:230)> l ceiling A large domed ceiling, decorated with grisly frescos in black and red, depicting defilement, death, torture and mutilation at the hands of faceless men clad entirely in black. <(HP:230 EP:230)> l skulls Hundreds of skulls were used to construct this room, attesting to the carnage and havoc wreaked by the Durmanhoth. Blood slowly oozes out of the eyesockets by means which are beyond your comprehension, but which you probably wouldn't enjoy much if they weren't. <(HP:230 EP:230)> l walls They were constructed entirely out of skulls, and the sight of the rippling tide as the blood trickles down out of the sockets is indeed a sickening one. On the north wall is the large board where successful hits are recorded, on the east wall hangs a large scroll, and the west is occupied by several large tapestries. <(HP:230 EP:230)> l entrails The filthy remains of people once alive, litter the floor in abundance. There are two torches on either side of the door which flicker as if disturbed as you enter. A floor of black marble and the walls echo your footsteps menacingly. Tapestries depicting battle scenes adorn the walls. Two oversized black candles cast light on a huge mural on the north wall, and the guild's crest is masterfully painted on the ceiling. The bar is illuminated by a grand chandelier. The east wall contains a fireplace with a massive stuffed head of an Oliphaunt mounted above the mantle. You see a few dark figures lounging at a couple of the tables, involved in various nefarious activities. Hanging from a shelf above the bar are various drinking cups, mugs, and glasses. Pipes and numerous barrels of leaf are along the right hand side of the bar. A polished menu sits at the end of the bar. As you marvel at all the various fixtures, yet another beautiful sight catches your attention -- the barkeep. The only obvious exits are west and south. The torches were meant to be mounted since they are far too long to fit into any container. They burn with an almost sentient quality, as if they were eternal spirits of flame rather than mere torches. <(HP:230 EP:230)> l marble You curiously gaze into the endless darkness of the tavern floor's blackened marble. You are awestruck at the sight of it. The immense absence of light is nearly blinding. You begin to feel as though you are falling into the unreflecting stone but quickly shake your head to regain your vision. <(HP:230 EP:230)> l walls The east wall contains a mural and the north wall a fireplace. <(HP:230 EP:230)> l fireplace This great smoked-marble fireplace has been built into the center of this wall. Its mantle and border are decorated with the various murderous positions of the assassin. The fireplace has chain-link screens which are used to keep the sparks from the crackling wood inside the fireplace. You can 'light' it and 'extinguish' it. You can't see where the light source is coming from beside those gorgeous crystals that are lighting the room. You realize the crystals must be the light source because you have never seen light so pure and bright. She stands about 5 and a half feet tall and appears to weigh no more than 115 pounds. She has a face of perfect structure and flawless teeth, cheery dimples and a lean, ever-so-slightly muscular figure. She is clothed in dark, skin- tight leather leggings with a matching leather vest, although the vest seems to be a size or two too small. Moving with an assassin's grace, she looks up at you and asks what you'd like. A glance towards her ankle reveals her boot shiv. You can't help but wonder how she ended up here, tending the bar. When you get closer to appreciate the artistry, you see that it is a sculpture of a beautiful elven woman. She seems young even for an elf. Tight fitting black clothes hang on her sinewy body. Silver threads in the cloth make the statue sparkle occasionally. It has black marble walls just like the entrance hall, but in here, the floor is covered by a black rug that covers the whole floor. There are no adornments on the walls or in the room besides a few benches along the walls, and a single statue standing in the middle of the room. The statue is its center piece, and you can feel the power and evil emanating from it. The only obvious exits are northwest, west, east and southwest. There is a small counter on the southern wall and a scarecrow of a man is behind it waiting for orders. You notice a small sign on the counter.
