I remember using that exact ASCII art some 5-10 years back, when I first got my modem.
'The Big Breakfast' (an old UK breakfast TV show) used to have a fax machine inbetween the two presenters. I had just gotten my modem, and decided to test if it was actually the fax machine they used. So I faxed that image to them. Suddenly, in the middle of a segment, the camera pivots, and there was a camera guy holding two of the three A4 pages that generates together. A few seconds afterwards Vanessa 'i'm a fat bitch' Feltz was heard screaming 'you can't show that'. I was left laughing for about 15 minutes solid. I still laugh every time I think about it.
