Again Grady offers his open minded opinion on something. If you are unhappy with the law system because you think it is unthematic, think about all the other things! Is it very thematic to be able to be in the middle of a quest in Gondor and say 'Doh, I forgot something in Bywater, be right back..', and then run get it?

Is it thematic to cast fireballs? Is it thematic to fight with Gollum while someone else is asking him riddles in another place? I could go on for hours. Fact is that because this is a computer RPG, a lot of things have to be balanced in the name of gameplay.

That said, it is certainly worth discussing if we want a law system and how it should work. But not in this retarded fashion with flaming and destructive complaining.

You people are retarded, being able to report someone to a mysterious lawsystem that protects allies of Sauron from killing his enemies and vice versa is retarded. so instead of bitching at the assassin's for not agreeing with you that its great to be babied like that makes you look stupid.

    We love you too Duncan.

And Centyre, its a common rule that assassins hates people that report. People like you say something amazingly stupid like: Don't do the crime if you can't pay the fine!

Well, don't be surprised when the assassin stalks you down again.

Yes, I am lame, I don't do solo kills, I have none posted on the log page, I've always gotten pwned when I went solo - just check the log page, you can see it, I also think it's a challenge to screw my lectures and RL job and spend 5 hours waiting for someone to go to a comfortable spot, and..of course I've joined DH for the EQ. I actually hate those guys in DH and I've never gotten EQ on my own. I mean, hey, I had absolutely no EQ back when I was guildless and rocked 2 guilds solo. Oh wait, I'm too lame to do that, it's never happened.

I'd have to agree with Centyre. Not being able to handle the consequences of a failed attempt just shows that you are a weak assassin. The good assassins cowboy up when reported.

It would have been lame if i was right about the reports, but I wasnt. We aren't talking about that anymore, dumbass. We're talking about Duncan thinking it lame to report.

And this year it's lame to keep hunting your prey until they die. I'm such a lamer.

So in your opinion, Duncan. Reports are a necessity to the game. Otherwise, every assassin would suck like you guys. They give a reason to become better assassins. I did lock up kabuto when he tried me, but he was better coded than me and had better eq, so I couldnt get that done. And I'm sure you would love to be locked up with MELS.

And why should I tell you that I like you and don't want you after me if its not true? Reporting you is my reward for escaping attempts. I did ask you both kindly if you wanted to make a deal and have me give you both the opportunity to pay me half of what your fines would be to remove the reports. Thats a good deal, imo. I didn't even ask what your fines were; if you would have given me 1k i would have taken it and been like 'fuck that, his fines are a much higher, but whatever, ill take it.' But then Kabuto accepted it, but instead of being at the linhir bank to pay me, he was there with you to attack me again. You just want to play the game and kill easy newbies without having to give up anything to do that. Where's the challenge in that, having everything handed to you? You think that people should send you tells when they get low and invite you to pk them without reporting you? They should meet with you in the middle of nowhere right after you log on and give you all their eq so you can pk them with it? When does it stop? Next year it will lame to carry a lot of healing, the year after that it will be lame to use fade to get away from attempts, after that maybe it will be considered lame by you duncan to even run from attempts or use huntbreaks.

You probably joined DH so you could use the good eq, like MELS, all the time and have the protection from the people that could kill you. Back when you went solo, you got your ass kicked, so you had to join a guild for the backup. Either play the game and deal with it, or quit whining about it cause we've heard it before.

You guys should just be more careful on attempts and don`t whine when get reported I think. Looking by Kabuto`s log Centyre made a small show on you guys :p

First off, Centyre, you are stupid. Next, if you've done something to deserve a contract, this means you should be ready to defend yourself. On the other hand, you can lock us up? Or them assassins ar javla bogjavel and real badasses and can't be fought off?

There of course is a third option - just tell me you like me and you don't want to report me but you don't want me after you too so you could kindly ask me not to come after you again. I might actually consider that. Reporting me means you hate me and you would use every opportunity to piss me off. Thank you but I think such people should be flatlined as Klouse says.

Wrong Theodrek. Aule specificly fixed the previous bug where attackers would be guilty of attempts and murder in a situation like this.

As long as you end up killing the reporter, all previous and currently reported attempt charges are nullified.

So, stop yelling bug abuse ... unless ofcourse you want to declare Aule a cheater by his specific implementation of this feature. :)

You deserved to be reported for such newbish attempts. You guys think that no one should report you when you try to kill them. You should be punished for being so stupid to try me those first two times. If you try people at spots like that, with literally no real assassin work, you're asking for it. My trap would have worked and I would have killed you if you weren't better than me code-wise, Kabuto. Which should happen when you try to pull crap attempts like that, but with MELS, i guess you can do almost anything. Maybe i should have just rented a room in mt and waited it out, it was dumb of me, my mistake, ill remember to do it next time.

Whatever happened to 'Never give up'? You can talk all you want about how we suck, but if you hadn't been so eager to report us, you might have gone somewhere further away than MT level 4 to report us. Try Bree next time, there's even a handy-dandy innroom to hide in afterwards.

Forgive us for not taking your reports and happily running away to make you gold for no reason. If I'm going to pay a fine, then you're going to at least die for it.

Well, i guess they people who change that kind of thing, want to reward shit assassins who attack unfaded all the time right outside of the mt gates. Assassins don't care about style anymore? Just that they get gold, make a kill, and whine cause people report them?

hey moron, guess what, if someone attempts you and you report and then they kill you, the first attempt report is voided. it's been this way for a while.

This was some lame shit. Apparantly now, assassins can try people as many times as they want and only get one report out of it. They tried me each alone once, then i felt bad for them and tried to make deals to remove the reports. But when i went to the exchange place, they were waiting there to attack me! When that failed, they got me coming out of mt after the report, still full and low on hp from healing from the last attempt. True testiment of how a couple good pk weapons can kill someone if they get infinite chances.
