You guys are so funny. A Windows lover? please! I use Mac and Linux, not Windows. It just so happens, brainiac, that I accept mime-type 'text/plain'. It's your damn browser's responsiblity to ensure that text files are sent as such. In Windows, the way to do that is to rename it to end in .txt indeed.

BTW: UltraEdit doesn't as such support ANSI, but just make sure it's a text file, and not e.g. a word-document.

    A 'retarted' solution, eh? :P

Ugh, that's a retarted solution. Logs which include the 'tell alexa list' should be removed.

The solution that always worked for me is appending '.txt' to the log name. No idea why (is Nicu a Windows-lover?).

Or, if a color code seems to be required, put just ESC[0m at the very beginning of the log (use copy&paste if your editor lacks the 'quote next char' function).

    Gridi:

May sound daft - but turn on logger - tell alexa list.

Copy alexa reply and put it at start of the the log - then post again.

Its something to do with the ascii codes in first line of file.

Im sure others can explain better.

Gridi: try to rename file to end in .txt, also edit it with UltraEdit for example and save it in ANSI format.
