A couple days late, but better than never...
As I said before, its a pity party.
There are over 50 keys in Arda, and I have the same killing restrictions that KoDA does. I get keys all the time. In fact, why don't you ask me about it sometime, and I'll take you on a tour of Arda.
Secondly, the only reason I need armour is to kill NPCs with. Breaking hunt has nothing to do with what eq you're wearing. If you're being five-manned, its not much difference between wearing mmail and moon shield vs wearing no armour at all (see log where I died in 3 rounds, just a few logs down).
Its about intelligence and drive...you can wish to be better in one hand and shit in the other, and guess which one will fill up faster.
Man, it is not like that. The time you have been here dosen't matter that much, all that matters is that you have the will to try todo it right. It is not that hard, yeah I know I am not a good player myself but I think I know my way around here, and look Beyaz, I have been here for just almost a year more than you :P
And another thing...you guys are encouraged to lockup assassins, and have the eq/personnel to do so.
I have one or two friends in KoDA who would maybe help to do a lockup, and that is on the basis of one of us having a key, that we have acquired legally...which is very VERY unlikely to be the case.
Other than that, im not going to lock myself in a room with a 3 or 4 man bang party, with only vial/phial and some pasties for healing....i might as well go feed my ass to Shelob
And your timesclae for joining KoDA is wrong...Aravor hasnt been there a year, or maybe just over, and he is a footman....Yannemar is the same, though she has been there a little longer than Aravor.
If you impress with your skills at breaking hunts(Aravor), getting in and out of Mordor safely(Aravor again), or impress with your style of RP...you will do well in KoDA...i have none of these skills, so i guess i wait and die some more before(if at all) i am accepted into the guild fully.

I have to say KoDA has helped me a lot last year, I have learned about Arda politics and meet (for good and for bad) a lot of people because I'm a KoDA, simply is another way of playing...
And yes, call me a noob if you like, but i have only been playing this mud for about 2 years, most other high levels have been here for 5 or 6 years....so yes, im a noob. :)

And im there to RP, no to pk, or powerplay.
Thats why i am trying to join.

Its easy enough for you guys to escape pk's cos you have top quality weapons/armour/healing....i have a vial or phial if im lucky(which 9 times out of 10 gets stolen by someone), some pasties or jerkies probably, and nothing better than a sapphie to smack my attackers with, if they are immoral that is.

I mean, really man. Toughen up there, kick some ass. Learn some new moves...everyone else has gone through your stage before, where they just get pk'd over and over. Even Duncan and Skyman have gone through it. From what i hear they used to be absolutely miserable players....and now look, they're the bane of every level 14 in Arda.
If you aren't getting what you need from KoDA, look elsewhere, eh? There are other options out there. And no offense to KoDA, but hey, you're looking at 6 months to a year to get into that guild, which I admire, but you gotta know its hard to get in right from the very start. And then you're a freakin squire for an RL year after that :P
Then i get lectured for doing what other knights have done for ages, and probably ruin my chances of even getting into the guild properly.
Aye Betus, though i begin to think some of my 'mates' arent that...i mean, i have more offers of help from evil players whom i dont even know, than help from most of KoDA

This is where things go pear-shaped....They claim to be taking out this on the pledges, yet i dont see Arikon, Teejay, Zicex, Amandil or Asera being treated this way....and so they shouldnt, because they, like me, have done nothing to Udungul, or anyone else for that matter...other than the 2 lockups i have been part of, on Zerox, and that big one in Mordor(which had i known there was going to be a lockup, i would not have gone into mordor)

Better to relevel from 10 but with high skills than from 1 and skills at 10 (or 0 primaries, right?)
Also, i may well suicide...if certain people continue to harrass/contract/pkill me for nothing that this alt has done.

About Beyaz diying : it's sad to see a player diying too much cos all we now how to relevel can be a pain, just my opinion.
I specifically asked Draugluin about this recently and he stated that comments made on the log page that are in character can be treated as if they were said on the mud.
You got it right theo. I just think it's sad when you take something someone is saying on a log page for something more then joke. Everything in the mud is a joke nowdays. Mud is boring and very immature and i relaised that. And you all gonna say but you are still playing.
