Maybe not Kujo, but RP -is- about theme...whether you like it or not.
You cant RP without theme, or you would not have an aim in you being on the mud....unless you are a powerplayer...in which case you should not be part of a guild anyway. imho
And Daywalker, calling Gondor's Vengeance a Durm is a lot like calling you or Duncan a Beorning :).

Your comments only apply to certain evil guilds Kujo, KoDA for certain do not deliberately try to kill people in RP, i cannot vouch for other guilds, but KoDA do not.

I commented when Winnetou posted this, that it must've been a huge misunderstanding, I'm sorry.
I fail to see how the lack of a lawsys dictates what is 'good' in rp combat, and what is 'bad'.
What it comes down to it, is not theme or any of that other bullshit, it's getting kills without fines.... And i'm not saying that's a bad thing, but people need to cut the shit out and just admit it.
No, it shouldn't. Hunting is bad in RP not so much because of the increased chance of death, but because its level of accuracy is unfeasible if you are trying to roleplay a battle in Middle Earth. Having mercy on when RPing is bad whether you are hunting or not, as it too detracts from RP.
With merciful implemented, huting in RP should be fine.
