Nah Bakal should have kept to his target 'Winnetou' all the time and he would have killed him at least. But ok he suddenly saw two after him and went into panic instead. Not unusual when less experienced. I must admit to the fact that I don't know what I had done in this particular situation, but he must somehow have noticed that he rocked you both and with a flask as safety he possibly could have killed both of you.
