Three: hostile and war settings in guild alliances make PvP interaction much more interesting, due to the fact that you dont have to make gold for an 2 hours to kill anyone.
I can tell you exactly why there aren't tons of more solo runners. One: Many do actually really realyl enjoy their guild they are in and its not just about the eq to them.(props to you guys) Two: Alot of people are somewhat lazy or dont' try to get better at getting gear, hence they stay in the guild so they can use the armoury and gear they can get from it. (it feels like alexa is getting more expensive and has less quality auctioned on it nowdays)
Aside from that, I was waiting for Miz to attack but I guess he was just there to watch and make sure things didn't get out of hand.:)

On a side note, why is every dumbass in a guild these days. You would figure there would be more solo runners in arda now that strongboxes were introduced.
