When I have flasks, I like to use the phial early in a pk to maximise damage in the first few rounds of combat. Had he gone to Bywater or Bree he could have accessed more than one break and I didn't know what healing he had on him, if any, he'd been on for a while and auctioned a fair amount of stuff. Actually I was really surprised he had nothing more than a few jerky and a canteen in his pack. - That was a dodge potion? Well shit who put that in my farking hall. Someone remind me to bap the guilty party.

i think the assassination skill only determines whether you'll land a backstab or whether you won't, but i might be wrong.
Espera: No it doesn't. Take a maxed assassin and backstab. In the first round of that backstab, check your skills. You'll notice you get 350+ to your aim and 300+ to your attack. I think those are the numbers, anyway. Then take some other alt who isn't an assassin and has no assassination skill. Keep trying to backstab something until you succeed. Check skills. Same bonus. :P
