    You are on a short path. In the distance you see a massive 
natural fence with a HUGE gate that surrounds a large village. 
The beams of the fence have been carefully tied together, and all 
the cracks filled, making it impossible to peek through.  You have
heard rumours of such a village in this location; you think for a 
brief second then remember that Beornings live near the Carrock.
On the left along the fence is a large building with a guard at an 
open archway.  You hear the sounds of several horses inside.  In 
front of you, next to the gate, stands another guard in a small post 
who watches you carefully.  On the other side of the path, an old 
man sits on a small wooden chair.
