Just an idea i had, and hey, it worked. Thanks to Corpus and Ithilos for giving a hand. (sorry about the lack of color!)

This is the office of the Governor of Linhir. A large desk sits
squarely in the middle of the room, a comfortable chair behind it. Four
other chairs are opposite the desk for visitors. A thick rug covers the
wooden floor. The walls are decorated with paintings. Windows look out
on the town square below. All in all, this is a very comfortable office
for a fairly important man.
The only obvious exit is south.

Ithilos gets a walking staff from a sturdy hand-crafted pack.
Ithilos starts casting a spell.

Ithilos holds both hands out in a semi-abnormal position at Governor.
Etrius ohs baby.
Ithilos clenches his hands in a tight fist with a grim
look of determination in his eyes which remain, unshifting, fixed
towards Governor.
A pale blue mist trails from Ithilos' fingertips towards Governor.
The mist forms a tall stream as it circles around Governor.
Beads of sweat have begun to form on Governor's forehead as the
mist swirls faster and faster about him. Both Ithilos and
Governor now look very faint while the swirling cloud now
glows with a brilliant blue! When Governor and Ithilos
look like they're all but asleep on their feet the blue cloud
bursts from around Governor and begins zipping madly around
as a surging rocket of blue light!
Ithilos and Governor topple to the ground, exhausted.
The surging rocket of blue light gives off a momentary sparkle.
The Surging rocket of blue light flies south trailing a few fading blue sparkles.
Alexa tells you: a royal guard's helmet is now on sale as lot 32, minimum

Mayhem looks at Short guard.

Hairy guard hits Corpus hard.
