Fimbu, you have to admit it was a bit funny. And... well it was 'just' Ith. And you get to squish him for it... and that's fun!
Luckily, Deboraha, I'm not pissed at all. Bummer that you would overreact like that :P And so far as I'm concerned, thieves shouldn't steal from other thieves. It's something I live by and that I have both profited and lost from. But on the whole it's a cool system to have and I try to punish those who steal from me - or another friend thief.
Jerf, i thought friends werent supposed to steal from each other either :P
And Deboraha, I'm not a silvan ;)
You are not a 'fellow thief' to me Fimbu.
You are an evil Dunlending and an enemy.
*smirks in amusement*
Now, in Fimbu's shoes I'd be pissed too, but not too pissed. I mean, really, you didn't have that sword for more than a few seconds, easy come, east go. You break even on the fines if the other guy reported you. There's a nice kinda zen going on here.
Polk is a highly moral silvan stealing a weapon that was the property of a deceased highly moral noldo from the hands of a highly evil dunlending. (EVIL FIMBU! BAD!) It's good rp, in as much as the magical ability to just take things from people's hands without a reaction is rp, but that's a playability thing.
Sm?agol was a thief (and murderer and all-around bad egg). Bilbo, another thief (after a fashion), stole his most precioussss possession from him. That honor among thieves thing only works for thieves on the same side of the War of the Ring.
Btw, good typing Polk! I'd have ended up typoing steal swdro frmo fimrbu .
Good show!
And yes, that was my 'the preceding was a badass threat' ':P'.
Just a little something I call 'thief honor', Polk. Whether or not you respect your fellow thieves is your choice... Whether or not you die for that choice, is not :P
If you are mean to Fimbu I will GET YOU!
I see no reason to not steal from Fimbu
Honour is so overrated
They aren't :P I would never steal from another thief, unless he himself was known to steal from thieves. Fucking lame if you ask me. Nice for thieves to stick together.
heh, i thought thieves werent supposed to steal from eachother :P
I like the quick thinking.
*clap*
No honor among thieves?
Side note: both of them reported me...
