I don't see a purpose for the commentary. Draugluin is PoL. And for those of you who don't know, one of the founding fathers of this mud - if he wants to nuke Speedy for emoting naked streaking in front of Mordor Gates, then he's within his rights - or are you all paying for this mud to be running? Get over it.
It's not like 'speedy' doesn't have two or three other alts laying around. He probably started a new alt as soon as he was nuked for all we know. Hell he accused me of multiplaying when I whacked him at DMP/DDM, it was only later that I found out who he was and thought it was funny.
Are some of you worried that it may set a precedent for Draug and others to nuke people for false reporting MP'ing or wasting a Power's time or some shit? Here's a thought - don't waste their time, don't false report MP'ing, don't use their names to threaten nuking. Oh no, your lives are over now! You can't waste Draug's time without fearing for your character's life?

Maybe Draugluin had some OTHER reasons besides the ones being given that he can't simply say it on a public forum and Speedy knows what they are? Not that this is the case, but for instance if someone has other characters who are constantly making crap, I would for sure have a lot of less patience to that person in any alt, that's maybe why some people seem to be nuked for no reason.

Of course, Im no fan of speedy, if he were banned even I don't even think I would really care, i would probably be glad. But what if the next time its somebody I like, or me. Kinda makes you feel obligated to speak up when things like this happen. Even if no one listens, people have too much pride. Never wanting to admit that they are wrong.
Though I don't really know about the situation, I just wish I could nuke everyone that lied to/about me, or wasted my time. I'm pretty magnanimous though, so I probably wouldn't nuke people for just anything. Nuking people's characters is almost always a bit harsh considering the amount of work and time that is put into them, i think there should be a forced hibernation or something instead. I mean days worth of a person's life just like that. Seems a little... I don't know.

It seems like Speedy was nuked because he lied to the Power of Law. I don't think Draugluin considered much else.
If you want to feel bad for Speedy, or can't see the point of punishing someone for this, fair enough. I would say that you're looking at it a bit narrowly, and not considering how you would feel if this were used against you, and it worked.
Or perhaps, how you might feel the next time someone cheats to harm you, but because we are busy running after lies, we can't help.
Or even how the next time you complain about someone harassing you, cheating to abuse you, or any of the other million complaints I get, I had to assume you might be trying to trick me.
After you think about those things, then decide if you /really/ want it to be a slap-on-the-wrist sort of thing. If so, I respect that. We disagree.

What is funny is that when I see something happening and I don`t report it I get nuked for not reporting bug/mp/anything. When I see something and I try to report it I get nuked for false reporting. What would happen if he had just mailed me 'This is not enough proof' or something. Having in mind that in my mail I apologised if its not enough and if I am taking his time with my stupid mail. Guess not. I have never heard of someone getting nuked because of sending a mail to an ainur. Its just funny. Thats how good players leave the mud. What sux is that I am not the first and I wont be the last.

To me it looks like Speedy died, got pissed off, and tried to get Alkath nuked as a kneejerk reaction. Most players get very angry just after having been pkilled, we make stupid threats and sometimes say things we later regret, or at least I do. I kind of feel sorry for Speedy here.
if people should be nuked for threadning with it.. arda would be a quite empty place...

I am no friend with either DH/SoU or Udungul. And I surely haven't stolen anything from any morals(unlike RoI). I had a relationship with Speedy, yes , and it was 'legitimate', if you call it this way. Still, I don't understand how what Speedy did was enough for a nuke. You know, I simply didn't know that reporting someone for mp and telling him that the PoL will tell him the reasons for the report is illegal and therefore should be punished with nuke.
