PCs are much more fun to kill.

That makes sense, Ehtyar, but wouldn't you want to kill as many eorlings as possible? You can certainly kill more NPCs than PCs.

I think the solution for this problem is simple: place some really nice piece of eq inside Edoras and you'll have more both PC vs PC and PC vs NPC RP.

Quite. In order to maintain our PC vs PC RP status quo, we have to sacrifice our PC vs NPC RP, or the reverse in some cases (like myself on occasion). Since most people don't perceive playerkilling as a very RP thing to do, we take some flak (not a lot, but some) for giving weight to that side of our RP.

The point is that they value being able to hunt people through the guards and using the lockup and healer more than they value RPing by killing in edoras.

I thought it hurt rp because it aimed role playing between pc vs npc instead of pc vs pc. To support what I say I can sort of say what Trempk said. Which was something along the lines of DH members should all be mass murderers in Edoras and that they should always kill the guards, etc. I don't think that you should have to sacrife pc vs pc combat to spend all your time hack and slashing npcs alone so you can be a great rper. But hey, I'm an evil char and apparently I see things differently than moral chars.

No Nags, the guardpoint just makes it inconvienient to kill there, so that ppl who kill there can't have their cake and eat it too....

No Trempk, the point is, no one with more than two brain cells kills in Edoras.

The guardpoint thing was the single most anti-RP thing done recently.

It's not like I ran straight to the Guildhall and spent hours hiding there. I went inside, picked up a flask and then headed back to Edoras straight away. All within the space of a minute. If I hadn't had that flask, I would have died. So running and getting it was probably a wise move on my part, whether you like it or not.

You probably shouldn't attack him too close to his guildhall if he can get there before dying, eh Daimen? Whose fault is THAT? :P

I went into the village so I could get some healing, and a better weapon. It wasn't intended as a huntbreak.
