Matt Parsons is 120kg. On the New York Giants team, there are 18 people who are over 300 pounds (which is approximately 136kg). And I'm assuming you chose Matt Parsons because he was one of the biggest in rugby. And you're right, the offensive line/defensive line are the biggest players, and who do you think are the guys who hit the quarterback and running back when they get tackled?

And I looked a little around a little bit and saw there are less than twenty guys in that rugby league who are over 110kg(242lbs). Most of the guys were under 100kg(220lbs), most quarterbacks are around 220-230lbs(100-105kg).
I've watched rugby before and it was pretty neat, but there aren't many chances to watch it here. But after looking over all the nrl's players, I thought to myself. 'These guys look like pansies' They all look like they were dragged out of some weakass backstreet boy frat house or something. I could be wrong...
Anyway, my favorite players so far are matt parsons and kirk reynoldson cause they look like the only two who are badass, and reynoldson's got a wicked beard. Oh, and my favorite by far is Sonny Bill Williams. GO SONNY BILL GO!

The only sizeable difference would be in the defensive/offensive line (matter of fact, Running backs are nowhere near as big as most Centre's and Wings, Halfbacks and 5/8ths are bigger then Quarterbacks as well), and their job is to basically stand their fat asses still :P. Even then, the biggest fellow from the Miami Dolphins (Team picked at random 'cause they were in that Ace Ventura movie :P) is 145kg, Mat Parsons is 135kg, and he's got to actually run the ball, make tackles, stay on the field, not get a break every 2 minutes for 60 seconds etc etc etc :P.
Gridiron is nothing compared to Rugby, play both and tell me differently.

What's the deal with the public school bashing? In Australia, 95% of people in private schools are fairies, especially at sport :P (is it different in England?).
