That was slightly retarded... I didn't realise I was gettin' pkilled until you drew your Crimson. I couldn't see you, you see... but I also wasn't getting 'darkness surrounds you' messages. I guess, because I was outside the room wasn't dark... but you were still covered. Whatever. I'd also typed in all my travel aliases... on my way to my inn, so I couldn't do anything about finding a break. I suspect it wouldn't have mattered too much.
Another mystery solved... I saw 'Someone bonks someone' -so I figured you had an accomplice.
On a totally unrelated... or perhaps related note... I've been having a long week. When I'm not working, I'm at the hospital visiting my wife, who's had a pulmonary embolism. [which really, really puts gettin' pkilled into perspective, you know?] Anyways... originally I figured that it would be a piece of cake to figure out who contracted the hit... but then I realised that there were actually... mebbe a dozen suspects. I've been a mouthy bastard, and I can be pretty aggravating when I turn the social buffer off. I mean... I thought I wasn't worth a 5K contract, but if I pissed someone off that bad... well. Sorry.
