Okay, thanks for the clarification. Like I said, I was getting them up until I stopped being an archer...but I don't know what happened to them after that. Funny, though, that they'd put the good ones at Anfidurl. Back in the day, the ones from Silent Slayer would knock you unconscious every time they hit, and the ones at Anfidurl had the chance to be shaken off...you know, because getting arrows in Mordor was more difficult. It's ironic that suddenly Mordor ones don't do anything and Anfidurl is the place to be. Sort of lame, even. :P

...have you ever checked, Daimen? Because I've been getting dark arrows from that quest for, oh, the last 5-6 years or so, including the last time I was an archer (less than a year ago). And it isn't hard. :P

Hey, are dark arrows not from the Silent Slayer quest anymore? If they still come from there, then I don't understand why you all think they're difficult to get. :P
And as for training deflection up...jesus christ, that's exactly what we need. Another skill to keep training to 60 just so one item can't be used against us. *mutter*

Where did you read about Miyamoto Musashi, Duncan? :) I'm reading a book, 'By the Sword', which is a detailed history on swords, and I'm nearing the end of the chapter on Japan, China, and Samurai, and he was (of course) featured in it, along with the story of how he fought Kojiro. :)

Er, why remove dark arrows? The fact that my ass is too lazy to quest them doesn't mean that Joe is mean just because he is not lazy to quest them, right?;) If I don't use them - it's my fault:)

How to dodge 5 people? Dance on their nerves:))) When you fight numerous enemy - be like water - hit their strong points one by one - suddenly, vigorously, unexpectedly. I don't remember the exact quote by Miyamoto Musashi but this is the essence:)
Don't remove dark arrows, just install a system where the mud remembers your last commands, so you don't end up getting stupidly lost
Deflecting makes a very noticable difference at 60 in combat with archers..you take maybe 1/4 less hits. Dark arrows aren't exactly easy to get either.
And not only they are semi, but also it's not like they have a 100% chance of making you unconscious.
It's not like every archer has dark arrows. So stop whining about it.
There havent been many logs lately of dark arrows. Find something else to whine about please
I was encouraging more attack possibilities and less unconscious-knocking weapons, Alkath. Not more healing.
How should you be able to dodge five people, when a couple of them stab you in your back, a couple of others shoot arrows into your legs, making it a bit harder to run, just with drinking a phial/vial + flask? If that's not unbalanced, I dunno what is. But it's about playability, there's a bit to much quickheal in the game atm. But don't try to get us more, Oracle.
Yah actually only the killers should post the log, I think it looks better anyway.. I'd post a kill on me only if it meant something very funny or incredible.
The unconscious-knocking arrows are way more unbalanced than the SRS since you can train RM but 60 reflect has like what, 1% less chance of being hit? Personally I think that a skilled player should be able to dodge most bangs except a complete outmanning, messup or an unlucky break. Arrows like this, and SRS actually, makes it so much easier to PK and it would be so much better if they were removed/changed and then gave the assassin prof a cool attack skills while in combat to inspire people to solo more. It would save lots of whining on the comment section and we'd have lotsa more cool solo logs.
At least thats my two cents.

By posting your own logs of your own deaths means that you are tough and you think that it is amazing that someone actually killed you. so therefore you have to post it to keep looking tough so the other people that killed you cant look tough.
Most logs actually looks best from the victims viewpoint!
