I think posting attempts is very nice. When I first started playing I paid very close attention to the attempt logs. Because those are the logs that show huntbreaks. I learned a great deal of my huntbreaks from attempt logs. Of course I have doctored them up some and added my own special touchs to them.
You see? When I started playing I didn't have 500 aliases handed to me and all kinds of quests taught to me by quest sheets and logs that some friend gave me. I learned the gold ole fashioned way. Trial and error and exploring. I don't know anyone in real life that plays this mud right now and seeing logs like this is a great help for learning new things.
MY POINT:
Attempt logs are labeled attempt. If you don't want to read attempt logs don't click on the logs that are labeled 'attempt.'

Alkath, I'm going to give you the advice I give Trempk from time to time.
When you want to post a comment, type it up, and then read over it. Then wait 5 minutes before clicking the 'Add it!' button and think about whether or not you have anything else to add to that comment. If, after 5 minutes, you still have nothing else to say, just add the comment. Otherwise, add the new stuff to your comment, and then wait 5 minutes and repeat.
