As you climb to the top you see why there was no door, orcs
inhabit this flet! The corpse of an elf lies half into a stew
pot and anything of beauty in this room has been destroyed. A
large mound of feces sits in one corner and several dead animals
in another. In the corner you can see an old diary lying forgotten.
This is not what catches your eye at first, however. It's the huge
gaping hole in the middle of the floor. It looks like a boil or
some terrible affliction in this magnificent tree's very center.
As you stare at it fascinated, you notice a rope and wooden ladder
leading down it, through the living blood of the tree.
