nothing happens, and you begin to think that you aren't heavy enough,
but then the giant bell slowly begins to swing. As your feet hit the
floor you are treated to an earsplitting *BBBBOOOOONNNNNGGGGG*. The room
quivers and shakes from the force of the noise. Suddenly you notice
that the floor doesn't seem to be that sturdy. The boards start to
creak and snap under your feet....

middle of a large stairwell that spirals up towards the bell tower. The
staircase curves about the wooden walls, running on each wall in turn
before vanishing up into the bell tower above. An elaborately carved
banister encloses the staircase, delicately carved with images of flowers
and ivy.
    The only obvious exits are south, up, north, west, east and down.
