The absurdity of this really boggles my mind. Hey Nareez, since you 'knew' them since you started, i'm sure you'd realise they were sharing characters! :)
They were nuked rightfully because of this, same as Whinnetou was nuked again for transferring a character (Zlobarisko) from the original owner (Morstef). It's kinda funny how Whinnetou ending up with a character of my old old old friends, makes it easy to get her nuked.

From my own side I thought Otoron created a good solidarity over the comm, entertaining people, joking around and such. And he got nuked for this bullshit which I can't realize...why? Another good example is with Arthlor as Squibb mentioned. And even another, don't forget the two heroes from the south (From my perspective =P), Magneto and Winnetou (http://logs.dyndns.dk/comments.php/7564). This is the one that I found most amusing of all. Probably because I was a really good friend with them both. Knew them since the time I started to mud. And why the hell did they got nuked?, the ainurs figured out some shit they could blame on, pressed the button, and booom..

Currently, with 100 tactics, you'll be busy for one round for each headbutt, failed or not.
In the recent past, you were busy for one to two rounds for each headbutt -- again, with 100 tactics. Failed headbutts did not make you busy.
In the distant past, you were not busy when you headbutt, regardless of success.
The change via Boffo's petition helped warriors by changing busy times for successful headbutts from one to two rounds to just one round.
The change hurt everyone else who tries - but fails - to headbutt.
headbutt sucks now, before if you had 100 tactics you rarely went busyat all, meaning the skill was still somewhat useful though not as good as it was 2 years ago, now you ALWAYS o busy meaning that headbutt is a waste of ep for most common applications and its probably better to use that ep on a fireball to start combat or casting dark spell and eaglesighting. The fact that it balances it for other professions shouldn't even enter into discussion until the skill works properly for the main profession.

I'm glad you like the new Headbutt change, Necsipaal, because I can take credit/blame for it. I proposed as a petition that a headbutt makes you busy once, and once only reguardless of whether you hit or miss. Makes more sense to me, and it's definitely more balanced.
While I may have made enemies over this thing, it was definitely not my intention. I shouldn't have to 'back up' that which I didn't intend to instigate in the first place. Having said that, I've been pkilled 12 times in the last 8 days. I don't quite remember it all, but that's what my Charinfo tells me happened.

If I remember correctly headbutts had been downgraded, before MC was even dismissed and I don't remember Boffo beeing councilor at that time.
Now I see it has been slightly upgraded, cause a sucessfull headbutt doesn't take two rounds anymore. So I'm beeing a bit confused about which part Boffo played in this change.
Anyhow it seems the guy made a couple of enemy and couldn't back up.
I think it's a good thing to make enemies and to preserve hatred.
But it's sortof lame to go whine after that.
I hate weakness and would tend to say, Boffo got what he deserved.
If you have strong opinions, you have to be prepared to die/fight for them, may it be in a game or in real life.

The Valinor always use their coded 'punishments' to keep anyone who disagrees with them silent and/or agreeable.
They've completely missed the fact that the MUD is nothing without it's players, but the admins I've told that to tell me I'm wrong. But how many of you would play here if there were just NPCs and Ainur?
Anyways, there always will be those that have to make up for their RL shortcomings by bullying other people.

What I dislike most about the situation, I think, is that Valinor do not allow any discussion on the matter. They remove any post/petition that is made on this matter. They bar anyone who tries to make a reasonable post upon the matter. So that this whole ordeal will vanish in silence, at least that is what they hope.
Moreover they even warn people who just want to talk about the matter.
