You stand before a steep green terrace. A high, broad flight of stone
steps leads up the terrace to the golden hall. To the north, arrayed
below you, is the town of Edoras. A bright spring is gushing forth
into a stone basin here, with the overflow running into a stone channel
that leads off down the hill. There is an east-west street which
runs along the front of the hall.
The sun shines brightly in the eastern sky.
A crystal clear sky hovers over the world, dotted with a few small clouds.
The only obvious exits are north, east, up and west.
