Once, long long ago, Aule, by request of manwe organized a telegraph service in the region of Arda. This rich organisation was to serve the Ainur, but few mortals also had access to it.
Down you can see decoded(not completely) LOG files from the time of the great War of the Ring.
Note: Dont forget that Galadriel is grandmother and a mother-in-law of Elrond.
