Actually, Elariel, it is an inaccuracy to have the generic human race of towers be edain. Edain was a branch that became the dunedain and numenoreans. If Beornings are any race it is likely Northmen who branched into Rohan and became the eorlings... but I already debated this with Mathias. They just get to suffer with the admin's misnomer and therein lies just one of the difficulties for the Beornings on t2t :p

I don't really have an opinion on the subject, but while reading the Silm, I always got the impression that most all Edain were highly moral and very close with the elves and therefore would never kill one. To each his own, I suppose.

The log page MUST be OOC. There are no two bouts-a-doubt it (deliberate spoonerism. It's fun!) I mean... if I see a friend or an allie of mine get worked in an exceptionally stylish way, I want (and must have) the freedom to say 'that was very stylish' -while at the same time wishing that it had happened to someone else.
As far as Killing Restrictions for Beornings... there isn't really anything in the LoTR (aka: the Bible) to suggest that Beornings wouldn't kill elves if they found it necessary... they'd just rather kill orcs.

You know, I just wrote like two paragraphs explaining a bunch of stupid stuff, but then I just decided to delete it. SO. In short, hirgail and me are right and the log page is OOC, or is supposed to be. And not seperating the log page from the mud is the same as not seperating OOC and IC. And of course, its obvious that I don't comment here with alts because the beornings would gangbang me relentlessly. Sure sure.

Krim, 3 things. Since you want to assume I don't like Beornings because you killed my alt(you killed my idle-though you weren't to know- alt and then tried to doubletap it). I'd happily from now on, log out as Hirgail and login that alt anytime I have a comment regarding Beornings, if it would make you feel better.
If you have killing restrictions in Loth, then say hello to Mr Fine, because you'll be getting to know him very well.
Finaly. I like a lot of Beornings, I like you too Krim and consider you a friend, so much so that I even put another alt of mine into the guild to help you out when you were having problems with activity(which I promptly withdrew from the guild once I saw what direction it
was heading in). As individuals I like most Beornings I know, but as a group I really don't like a lot of the things I've seen you do. All guilds do bad things from time to time, but it just seems that Beornings do them more than most. Your attitide that, you would kill people for flaming on the logs page for example, is bullshit.

But if this isnt the case, then I guess I just choose not to roleplay on the log page like I do on the mud. Maybe I can start a log-guild called the beornings or something, anyone want to join? Wtf?

My name is Trempk here so that people can identify who I am, not what I roleplay in the game. Otherwise I would comment with all of my alts and no one would know it was me when I was talking. If what you say is true, then my opinions should change with whatever character name I'm commenting under, which I don't agree with.
I wish it was like in the old days, when there were lots of other evils here, who constantly screwed themself up in their comments, so Trempk made them look like fools all the time :) Lately it's mostly just been personal insults :( That sucks, you can do better then this, Trempk!

I said what I wanted to about the beornings on another log and ive been trying to do my part and hold back the flaming. And I have for the most part, and when I haven't I've kept it as blunt and as broadly aimed as I could. I don't believe that I've even flamed rand personally. A while back i said he was kissing ruiniels ass and thats the only time i remember and it was pointing out a fact, not really flaming.

The only problem that i've had with rand is his mailing my GM whining to him that I flamed beornings on the log page. Aside from basing a guilds relations on one person outside of the game, I don't see how he can't seperate this OOC forum from the IC relations between the amruin and beornings. Its beyond my comprehension and in my opinion, its just fucking stupid. Thats all I'm going to say on it cause i made an agreement with my GM and am trying to keep it as best I can.

You obviously have an issue with Rand's typist since I asked and Rand the character hasn't done a thing to you. It gets old. At least try to treat his characters as separate individuals because I believe if he killed you or a guildmate with an alt over your comments here directed at Rand, you would happily report the mping, even if you have no qualms about spouting unending vitriol over mp information here.
I've suggested to Rand before, and I'll do it again, to stop commenting here. All it does is encourage people to flame. If you want to post logs here, go for it, but just accept that no matter what you do, how well you play or how much skill you demonstrate in the log, there are people who will always shit on you and they just aren't worth the time to respond to because they will never change, so arguments are just wasted time.
As for the log itself, it's a bang, yay. Manthalion is hot in this log just because he is there.
