Here's a little story for you! One time, I was trying to kill some guy in Mordor. We had been fighting off and on earlier, and I was hunting him toward Carchost now. He stops at the well and doesn't do anything. I say something like 'Wtf?' He turns around, runs back to Narchost, just seems to be running around without purpose. But I know he's not an idiot, so it seems like he's just letting me kill him. So I say 'Fine! Screw it. If you're just going to let me pk you, I'm not going to bother!' and turn hunt off.
As it turns out, his eaglesight wore off right as he got to the well, so he couldn't leave.
The moral of this story: It's better to kill Drego and then regret his idleness, as opposed to not-killing Drego and finding out he wasn't idle at all.

Hehe well do I know the toilet problem, I've died twice from it. It's so typical that's when people actually strike too, even if you're gone for like 1 min or so. Once I died in the space of reading 1 short forum post on the angband site while drunk healing on gorgoroth. You just don't want to waste all that time leaving and re-entering just to take a leak.
