Nicuramar: I agree, addactions are not intended to be breaks first of all, but I bet you that most of them could be made so that a hunter can follow trough them. Granted I have forgotten more code than I remember but im rather sure there are those who could fix that in a heartbeat.
Heli: 'Complex exits' i.e. huntbreaks are obviously not made for that purpose, but to make quests more interesting. Surely that shouldn't be prioritized lower than the 'PK balance'.
I think there were petitions to remove hand healing and reduce the cost of staying faded or something similar, shot down of course.
About the log itself, berserk medallions, pepper, arrows, phials etc.
I think a good cleanup amongst both pkill items and counters, breaks and triggers, would probably be wiser than adding more items and features just to balance things. As it is now, it seems, someone codes a good item for p-killing, and just cause ppl like staying alive, hand healing becomes more common. Then, with every newbie maia area made, there is a new break added, since they almost have to have addactions in them and most addactions can be used to break. Because this makes it easier to get away from your attacker, more items to use for killing are added. And so it goes on. Who does it benefit? The ones who spend time learning to set their clients up the best, and then gather all gizmos and trinkets they need. Or the once who like spending their time actually playing the game, learning the areas and not having to worry about if their phials/flasks/vials/crystals/breaks/keys, will be enough to keep them alive?
Im to lazy to sift trough the petitions to know if this tought has been shot down already or not, but perhaps its worth to consider?

Although to also be fair, aiglos is a bit harder to quest and reset than whip anyway.
Because evils being able to get SS, MELS, and whip (though that now does have it's moral equivalent) isn't fair enough :p
