Gates used to be bugged to continue combat, Mathias fixed it 2 days ago though. Ergo was planning on backstabbing anyways it seems. maybe would have made the difference here.

i like how immortals know someone's bugged and can't leave an area even as a ghost, so they just log on their mortal char to avoid actually having to do something
