15 ERs vs our dragon: 11:1. It looks like we need to de-nerf our darling a bit.

I wouldn't be so bold as to label myself a wordsmith Though I am quite experienced in that area of expertice. If I also may give it a humble try i reckon it would look something like this:

Omg Carfagotth jumps high liek michael jordan slamm dunking shae. teh monster pwns shaes bones with 37337 skillz. omfg he r using HUGE wings an stuff. carfaggoth looks own, he r happy and shae ded, a terrble laff echo from him: lolololololol. 1 thing left is blood on teh stone below ffs.

Boffo's the 'Wordsmith', not I. If I may edit Shae's suggestion...

'Carfargoth makes a mighty leap, smashing Shae's body under his colossal weight. The monster proceeds to grind Shae's bones under his giant paw with ruthless enthusiasm. Using his great wings, the beast shifts slightly and pins Shae to to the ground, decapitating him swiftly with his lashing tail. Carfargoth then devours Shae's body, leaving only a pool of seething blood on the stone below.'

I throw Trempk into Miroth. Trempk hits Miroth, Urgnath, Killem, and Pallasch, and they get knocked into another group, which get knocked into another group. That's how it works.

Thats what I wondered, then I was told that it was like bowling, but that didn't make sense either. But I think that they are looking into changing that too.

So the bodies like, grow in size or something? Because I don't see how it's going to hit every person in the room at the same time.

What I want to know, is what was the reward? :)

Oh, and was the body-eating thing an insta-kill, or did he just happen to kill 7 people in the course of about a round and that's his death message?

Carfargoth leaps on Shae mashing his body under colossal weight. The monster proceeds to gind Shae's bones in between the floor and his giant foot with a ruthless enthusiasm. Using his great wings, the giant beast shifts slightly and pins Shae to to the ground with his enourmous tail decapitating him swiftly. Carfargoth then devours Shae's body leaving a pool of charred blood on the ground.

??? I dunno... less repetitive I guess! Tear it apart please!

    TRAGDOR!!!! Burninating!!!

Well, if you can suggest a replacement, we'll happily accept it, Tevildo.

Carforgoth was coded by an ainu who is a brilliant coder but a poor descer. Unfortunately, the clumsiness of the death message was not picked on during QC. Still, I would prefer clumsy messages over buggy code any day -- especially considering the fact that my own descriptions aren't that great.

We'll appreciate descriptions written by a true wordsmith. Nuff said.

'Carforgoth jumps over Malaugrym's body and begins crushing his body. He steps over Malaugrym's body repeatedly, breaking his body bone by bone with a ruthless body-ravaging enthusiasm. He makes one last series of strikes at Malaugrym's body, pulling his head off his body first, then bodily swallowing all his body! Body body body. Burninate.'

Not... the best-written part of the MUD. And less exciting than Shelob. Still, anything that kills ERs is a friend of mine.
