'22 down,' a calm, gravelly voice seems to say in your head. 'One million more to go.'

I remember one time, a long time ago, I was level 4. I had just dropped to Immoral from Impartial and was taking a friend to Muzah but I didn't know my way around Erebor. I asked a few dwarves to help me, but none would. Eventually I got lost with my friend in a place where some guards were attacking me. I kept asking for help and finally Nurgamazur came and instead of helping me, kept me in there and I ended up dying. He then escorted my friend out, and told me I deserved to die because I was 'attacking Erebor's citizens' as they wouldn't attack me instead. So hey, BkD can call bullshit on DH killing people who kill Tenzek all they want, as long as they realize that they've already broken a few windows throwing stones from their glass house.

Ahahaha. Yeah. So, let's see here. DH lock up people in their camp who are killing their countrymen and kill them. That's bad, says the Beornings who kill level 11's that are making gold, that's horrible says the BkD who can and do lock people in Erebor for making gold or just for RP to kill them. Btw, Rand, can you not agree that if you could lock up someone you were 'RPing' with, even if it was someone under level 15, you would?

Grow a pair, and stop being a hypocrit.

Oh, I love how one of the only cases of merciful not working in the 1+ year of it being available to the mud is the time that BkD were locking someone in Erebor for RP. :) *cough Barberi*

But, why should level 11's be forced to RP? They won't be able to. It's not fair, and IF I remember correctly, a good term for that is called 'bullying', Barberi. Don't give bullshit like 'you were killing one of their people, you should've expected to die.' There's a difference between levelling and RPing. You have to do the first to be able to properly do the second so that everyone can enjoy the game. Please realize this, before you say something like 'Of course it's okay to kill level 11's in RP' again.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Arawn. BkD wearing... no, wait! FLAUNTING their beards and slurping down ale like fish drink water... then claiming that RP makes them do it! That's bloody ridiculous.

True Barren, but it is also true that they will keep following only so far as a reasonable frontier. For example the Rohirrim would not track the Haradrim up to Bywater, if you think along that line.

First of all: I never lock the door if Im trying to chase someone out of Erebor.

Second: I dont attack before giving atleast 3 warnings, then after attacking and they still dont leave, I give them one final warning then I hunt them down too kill.

I agree with Rand though, DH's way of rp is bullshit, they just use the word rp as an excuse for locking and killing newbies.

Is that coming from the guild that locked me up and hunted me in Erebor, trying to kill me in RP?

I'd like to make a simple theme based statement as to all you twits bickering about RP/vs/PK.

If frodo just 'left' mordor, would sauron stop tryin to kill him?

If an orc just left rivendell, would elrond let him live?

If a group of haradrim just waltzed out of rohan, would theoden quit hunting them down?

I think not. Simply put, regardless of what you may think, death is the only true rp. There is a difference between killing for pk, and killin for rp however.

Blackman was golddigging, hoping I'd attack so he could report. The

level 10 quest doesn't involve killing the dwarves on top of the wall

outside of erebor or telling someone to attack when he was warned to stop.

what i am saying barberi is that a beorning followed me out of the room where i was killing something (he told me to leave) and then hit me again and watched me bleed to death. how is that NOT using rp as an excuse to pk?

Well, Otoron, I would say that in this case, you don't know what your talking about. Because Bentelbow had merciful on when he attacked Blackman but it didn't work much like a WHOLE lot of stuff in the mud isn't working these last few days.

And Delrerangoogogogooo, that makes no sense. You were killing a beorning which they protect and you just left one room. You expect him to stop attacking you? I don't know though, I think everyone should always be ready and prepared for RP to take that step over to PK. Because it usually does in this MUD.

yeah, using rp as an excuse. like when you guys see a low level killing in erebor and then bang the shit out of them 2 days later. yeah, that's great rp.

hey rand when i was level 11 a level 17 beorning came and told me to stop killing a beorning scout and i said no so he attacked me (he was a warrior) and when i wimpied out of the room he followed me and i laughed and said 'ok kill a level 11' and so he did and finished me off. i guess it's okay when beornings do it but not okay for anyone else.
